System Properties
In the system properties, various advanced options of a Server are configured. These are explained further in the chapters below.
The configuration is done in the context menu under Antcas Control Infrastructure
Server.
Information
In this tab, all information for identifying the server is displayed. The name and description are also entered here.
The main Hostname is configured here. This is used in the network to identify the server.
Security
The System Configuration and all other exports from the system can be encrypted to increase security.
Attention: If you use this option and forget the password, this process cannot be undone. The system files are automatically encrypted with every export. This also applies to all backups. To change or remove the password, the current password is required.
Backup
The system backup is performed automatically every day at 02:00 AM. However, these options can be customized. You can find more information in the chapter Backup Management.
The time zone is configured under Date and Time in the respective
Server.
Maintenance
If a Server needs to be maintained, the behavior and an announcement can be configured here. The announcement also appears on every visualization that has been assigned to the server. With the exception that availability has been set to "Full".
Note: It is not checked whether the project depends on other servers or whether it has a cluster.
The specified period always takes place in the server time zone. Even if the project has a different time zone. The time zone can be configured under Date and Time in the respective
Server. If a project has a different time zone, the date and time are converted accordingly.
Attention: Temporary maintenance is not automatically stopped if the period is exceeded. It only serves informational purposes.
It is possible to omit the time or a date. The message will then be displayed differently.
Availability
The availability affects accessibility and the messages displayed. If maintenance is temporary, the respective date and time are automatically taken into account. Logging in will be as follows:

*Logging in only possible with authorization for the infrastructure.
Notes: With Full availability, no maintenance notice is displayed on the visualization. Even after a completed temporary maintenance, a message is displayed, but login is then possible again.
Reason
A reason for the Maintenance can be specified. This is additionally displayed below the message. Links, email addresses, and phone numbers are converted into hyperlinks.
