Hardware
You will find all information about Antcas hardware in this chapter. There are different hardware versions of the Antcas server models. For most models, various licenses can be installed. Since product names match with the licenses, certain hardware types have several names. The license scope itself is not considered here. See the chapter Licenses for this.
Virtual machines and their requirements are not covered in this chapter. Virtualization is available from Core 2 onwards. Contact us to check the requirements.
The chapters below are arranged by server performance. Various products with EOL (End of Life) are also marked. These are no longer orderable.
Selection Criteria
Determining the right hardware for your project is very important. Here are some guidelines to select the hardware:

|---|---|
| Many data loggers are used. | Basic or higher. |
| Data loggers need an interval higher than 15 minutes. | Basic or higher. |
| More than three apartments in the same building are visualized. | An Economy is already more cost-effective here. |
| The project has complex logics with many string operations. | Basic or higher. |
The Antcas Home server has a reduced feature set and is only intended for private apartments and single-family homes. The scope is further explained on the product page.
