Antcas Apollo

The Antcas Apollo is a passively cooled server with fast network connectivity. With its quiet design, it can be easily mounted next to the router in the living room or on the DIN32 rail in the control cabinet.

Note: There are different memory conditions. If the NVMe is not used, statistics recordings are limited to 15 minutes. The eMMC memory is pre-installed in both variants. Subsequent installation of an NVMe is possible but not offered by Antcas. Installation is at your own risk.

Ports and LED's

The Antcas Apollo server has various ports on the back. There is also a locking opening for theft protection (Kensington Lock) on the side.

Note: Only one LED is used for the operating status. If it flashes, the server is in the boot process. Once it lights up, the operating system starts.

Power Supply

The power supply can be secured against accidental removal using a special cross on the housing. Using your own power supply is not recommended as the voltage must be 20VDC.

  1. 20V DC power socket of the server.
  2. Loop cross prevents accidental removal of the cable.
  3. C5 plug.
  4. Socket type depending on country.

Mounting Options

The housing can be mounted on a screen or wall using VESA mounts.

  1. Attach the corresponding adapter plates. For wall mounting, these can also face outwards.
  2. Mount the screws (A) in the screen.
  3. Then the server can be pressed against the screen or wall.
  4. Move the server down to engage the screws. Make sure it is firmly seated. Otherwise, the server may fall out of the mount.

A mounting on a DIN35 rail is also possible. The matching DIN35 rail adapters are available separately via ELDAS®-No. 158975335 or Phoenix Contact Art.No. 1201578.

Note: Ensure sufficient heat dissipation. Otherwise, the server will not function properly.

  1. Prepare the adapter plates by mounting the DIN35 fasteners. Pay attention to the alignment of the plate here.
  2. Attach the plates according to the photo to ensure minimal air circulation.
  3. Latch the server onto the DIN35 rail. The server's ports should face downwards or to the side after mounting. This prevents dust from entering.

The small tabs on the back allow the server to be secured with cable ties as well.

  1. Mount the cable ties through the loops on the back. The mounting plates also have loop fasteners.
  2. After mounting, ensure that the server is firmly seated.

Covers

The included covers enable an IP protection class of 5X. Use is particularly recommended when mounting the server in control cabinets or dusty environments.
