Interfaces
Antcas Control supports a wide range of interfaces. The settings for all interfaces are configured in the context menu under Antcas Control
Interfaces.
Connect Interface to Project
To establish a connection with one or more projects, you must connect to the corresponding interfaces. This is done under the configuration of an interface. Here, all projects are selected that should be enabled for communication with the interface. If the interface is also intended for future projects, e.g., a global interface, you can select the option All.
Tip: Always assign the corresponding projects and do not set an interface to all projects. This can become very confusing later when exporting and importing a project.
After assigning the project, the interface is available under the Installation.
Add Gateway
To establish communication, a Gateway is added under the interface. Note the outgoing ports to avoid conflicts. See troubleshooting below.

Note: The number of memories is limited by the
License. You must deactivate a
Gateway, an
External Storage, or a
Data Exchange Endpoint to release a license point again.
Redundant Gateways
In some interfaces, it is possible to add more than one gateway. Each of these gateways must connect to the same bus or device. In case of a failure of one gateway, the connection remains intact. Note that the so-called triggers (trig, trig_p, trig_n) are only triggered by the fastest gateway.
Troubleshooting
If an Gateway does not function properly, an error is usually displayed. This can be shown at the bottom right as an error in the
Infrastructure or also in the
Monitor. Usually via the variable
offline or
error.
Possible causes:
- Multiple gateways were used with the same outgoing TCP ports.
- The IP address is not reachable.
- A USB gateway was used.
