Many different USB devices are supported. The hardware outputs are fixedly addressed to ensure that the function of the USB port is retained after a server restart.
Warning: When using USB hubs or extenders with integrated amplifiers, the server should be restarted so that the hubs are addressed. It is also recommended to use the port with the lowest number for the hub.
USB Ethernet adapters, USB LTE sticks and USB WLAN adapters are supported. These must then be configured in the Infrastructure under
Server
Network.
Serial interfaces can be expanded. This also affects the EnOcean Gateway USB300 and meter interfaces. We recommend an FTDI-compatible adapter with high voltage resistance.
USB sticks and SSD drives are directly supported. Note the power consumption to avoid damaging the server. To access storage, see chapter External Storage.
