File Sharing

Using File Sharing, elements of the Library can be shared.

Functionality

The sharing is provided on a separate Port. This must be set up separately from the Visualization. After that, all supported elements can be shared.

Share an Element

To share an element, it is opened in the library and then configured on the right side under File Sharing. To do this, a group is added to the sharing.

Note: Pay attention to security when making an element publicly available. The port should not be publicly accessible.

To access the shared element, a password may be required. This can only be transmitted via TLS connections; otherwise, error 426 is returned. It is not possible to use a Token for login.

Tip: Use the IP Filter to restrict permissions to specific devices.
