Emergency Recovery

The Emergency Recovery, also known as Recovery Setup, can be found at the address https://server-address:10000/setup/

To log in, two prerequisites must be met:

  1. The server must not have been running for more than one hour.
  2. A USB stick with the label SYS_RECOV must be found on the server. Before version 5.0, the designation EMERC_STP must apply.

This setup is designed to allow recovery in case of an error, even if the database can no longer be read. As long as the USB stick is detected, the Recovery Setup Mode appears in the editor.

Warning: Remove the USB stick again once recovery has been completed. Otherwise, the recovery poses a security risk.

Recovery Scenarios

There are various scenarios in which recovery is possible. Below you will find all the options that the setup offers.

Recovery Setup

This mode is suitable if the setup fails during installation. However, the operating system or database cannot be repaired. This would need to be reinstalled. The corresponding procedure is explained further under Install Core.

The recovery is performed using a setup file. This can be requested from Antcas. An update should be carried out as quickly as possible after uploading.

Note: The setup file differs for Core 1 and Core 2. This must be checked before uploading.

Reset Admin Login

Resets the administrator login. For this procedure, the token from Antcas must be verified and approved.

Start SSH Server

An SSH server can be started for advanced data recovery. This method is only reserved for Antcas.
