Scanner

The Scanner is an IP scanner. It is located on the right side of the editor. It searches the selected network for all IP-capable devices in the corresponding subnet range. This range is automatically determined by Antcas Control. The scanner also searches for available services on the respective devices.

Start Scan

To start the scanning process, select the network and then click Search.

The process may take several minutes. After the process is running, you can also log out. The scan will continue in the background. An active scan cannot be interrupted except by a Restart of the server.

Clear Results

The results are loaded into the server's RAM memory. This is deleted when clicking on Reset or after a server restart. Note that only the selected network is reset when resetting.

Permissions

The permission for the scanner can be set in the User Management. You can create a new group and disable the policy in the groups.

In addition, it is possible to completely deactivate the scanner for individual networks. This can be set under the corresponding Network Configuration.
