Licence
The licences can be managed under Antcas Control Setup
Licences . The licences are created per server and become outdated.

All additional options are licensed individually. In addition, the server must be activated. This happens automatically in the background.
There are three different types of licences:

| Main licence of the server. This is essential for operating the server. In addition, the basic options are defined by this. | |
| Extends the main licence by a number of options. | |
| This is an additional option that activates a complete additional function. |
Adding A Licence
Click on Add on the left side. Then all licence keys can be entered one below the other or separated by a comma.
Then click on the button Add at the bottom right. The process may take a moment depending on the number of licence keys. If the operation was successful, the added keys will be removed from the list and the management will be displayed. If errors occurred, they will be output next to the licence key. These messages do not need to be removed if you want to repeat the operation.
Note: In order for the new licence keys including meta-data to be added correctly, a database update may be necessary. Reinstall Antcas Control or perform a
System Check in the
Setup.
Upgrading A Licence
The previous licence key has been extended by additional metadata since the Antcas Control version 2.15. Antcas Control tries to automatically upgrade this. This significantly increases the performance of the software. If this fails, you may be asked to try manually. To do this, click on the icon Upgrade in the
Setup to extend it.
Removing A Licence
The licences are removed in management. Right-click on the corresponding licence and then click Remove. This process cannot be undone. Therefore, back up your licences.
Downgrading A Server Licence
When attempting to directly downgrade the licence, an error message appears. You must first completely remove the server licence before it can be replaced by a lower version.
Backing Up All Licences
The licences can be completely copied. Right-click on a licence and select Copy All. Then all displayed licences are in the clipboard.
Purchasing A Licence
If you need more licences for your project, you can purchase them via the following link https://antcas.com/goto/buy_license. To do this, provide us with the dongle key and the identification of the server. This is displayed under ? Adding a licence. You must be logged into Antcas Control for this.
Note: Do not create a screenshot of the view, as the dongle key may be longer than the view. In addition, there is a high risk that it will be misinterpreted.
Tip: After opening the info dialog, press CTRL+C without focusing on a text field. This action copies all server and licence information to the clipboard. Access to setup is required for this action. See the following example.
