Salto EventStream

The Salto EventStream interface encrypts each event in a device. This is then provided as a data point. Devices can also be created manually.

Configuration on Salto Side

Antcas supports only the following event configuration:

  • TCP/IP
  • JSON format
  • Defining a DoorExtID is mandatory
  • EventDateTimeUTC is mandatory to recognize a telegram as valid
  • Character encoding must be set to UTF-8

The outgoing port can be chosen according to the criteria of the valid ports. The default port is 3200. An interface is capable of handling multiple clients.

Unique IDs

Unique IDs are used for communication. These are passed by Salto as DoorExtID each time. If this has not been defined, the received data will not be forwarded to the PLC.

All new IDs automatically create a door in the installation.

Evaluation

To create a trigger, it can be created at the object event_id. Since the object changes with each reception, the evaluation can be implemented using the Function Block TRIG. If EventID was not defined, it is automatically generated.

Info: The interface synchronizes automatically with the slowest cycle of the associated PLC. The telegrams are buffered by the system so that no telegram is lost.
