Performance Test

The performance test shows all called program parts. It displays how long the calculation of each element took. This is very helpful to optimize larger projects for speed. Further tips can be found in the chapter Optimize Application.

The view can be accessed via the context menu under Automation ▸ Commissioning ▸ Performance Test.

Note: The project must be assigned to a server and the application may not be stopped or paused.

In this monitor, all called elements are displayed in real time. You can change the sorting by clicking on the column header.

If changes are made to the PLC, it will be compiled. Subsequently, all elements are recalculated. The monitor will list these immediately, which may cause confusion.
