DHCP Server

The Antcas server has a built-in DHCP server. The configuration is done in the Infrastructure under the Server, Network under the Network Interface.

To do this, only the type of network must be set to DHCP server.

Now the IP Range must be set. This is usually in the same subnet as the configured IP address.

The Lease Duration should be configured to a reasonable value. The value should be between 300 and 7'200 seconds for productive networks.

The DNS servers, the DHCP gateways, and the local NTP server are passed on to the client.
