Templates

The templates greatly simplify the management of elements. These can only be applied to individual elements of the Structure.

The created templates are managed exactly like all other explorers. Note that you always need to publish the explorer and the corresponding templates online.

All templates can only be used within a project and within the same element type. Thus, a Light can never have the same template as an Outlet.

Create Template

To create a template, open an Element in the Structure and then click on Edit. On the right side, you will find the widgetTemplates. There, click on Save As Template...

Now click on Add Template and enter a name for the template. Then click Enter to create the template. After that, click on Apply to publish the newly created templates online. Now select the template by double-clicking.

Now click again in the Element on Apply to overwrite the template.

Detach Template

To detach a template from an element, click on the right side under the widget Templates on Detach Template.

Now click in the Element on Apply to detach the template.

Delete Template

A created template can also be deleted. Note that the programming of the still linked elements will be deleted and they will then no longer function properly.

To delete a template, detach the existing template from the element and then click on Save As Template... Now you can delete the template like an element.
