Awaptec AwapSwitch

The system from Awaptec is fully integrated. The configuration of the individual buttons is done with the Config Tool from Awaptec. This means that the addressing and inputs are set in advance. The option "Single key" can be left at FALSE. This is set in Antcas Config.

Important Note: If you connect via USB to a device, functions may not work correctly via Antcas Control.

Gateway

At the moment only one gateway per interface is supported. This must have the ID 1.

Device Search

Once a gateway has been added, the bus can be scanned. To do this, first switch to edit mode and then click under Maintenance on Search For Devices. After a short time, new Switches are created with the corresponding IDs. The ID of the buttons must start from number 10. IDs below 10 are not added automatically.

From the new firmware, the buttons are also addressed automatically. Previously learned buttons will not be re-addressed.

Warning: If the serial number of a button cannot be read, it may be re-addressed.

1-Wire Interface

The 1-Wire interface on the AIO-8 can be used to monitor one or more sensors. The sensor must be connected to input 8 of the module for this purpose.

Sensor Cable Module Input
DQ 8
Vdd GND
GND GND

The telegram is then sent to the input onewire. The evaluation can be done by the corresponding data type without distinguishing the sensors or with RAW including the ID. The telegram is then structured as follows:

SSSSSSSSSSSSSS=Value

SSS* corresponds to the ID of the sensor and represents the value of the sensor. Using Function Block EXPLODE, the value can be separated from the ID.
