Commissioning

The commissioning of the PLC is very simple. You only need a WAGO-PLC (see Compatible Articles).

It is highly recommended to use a separate network for the PLC. This increases the security and reliability of the control system.

After connecting and powering on the PLC, you must configure the IP address using WAGO Ethernet Settings. It is recommended to set this statically. Alternatively, the DIP switches can simplify the configuration.

Tip: Turn all DIP switches on, then the WAGO-PLC obtains the IP address via DHCP.

Check if the program switch is in the RUN position (top position). This is located behind a cover on the fieldbus controller.

Then you can create a new interface under Interfaces PLC WAGO-I/O.SYSTEM 750.

Then create a gateway under the created interface. Enter the IP address of the PLC there and click on Save And Close.

Note: If the PLC already contains a program, it will be deleted and then directly connected to the server.

After approximately 2 minutes all nodes of the interface should be available in the Explorer (Installation).
