Davis Vantage

The interface communicates with a Davis Vantage Weather Station via WeatherLink.

The weather station can capture data that a building automation weather station cannot capture. Conversely, the Davis weather station is only conditionally suitable for safety functions. Another advantage is the decentralized collection of data. Because each weather station can be divided into its components and also expanded with additional sensors.

Functionality

The communication takes place via Ethernet or serial interface. Davis offers an appropriate expansion kit for almost every weather station. Note the baud rate in the display settings when configuring.

Tip: Antcas Control can set the console time. This can be configured under advanced in the gateway settings.

Variables

The variables are divided into ranges. These represent the locations of the captured data.

Note: Since this is an American product, all data from °F is converted to °C. Some values therefore look strange after the decimal point due to rounding after calculation.

Console

Weather Station

bartrend [string]	Description in English, in which direction the air pressure is moving.

wind_speed_10min [real]	Average over 10 minutes of wind speed in m/s.

rain_rate [real]	Rain rate in mm/h.
