Floor Plan

The Floor Plan plugin allows you to create complex floor plans.

General Display

To correctly display a floor plan, the following should be noted:

  • No logos are inserted into the visualization using the floor plan. Instead, use the Library plugin.
  • Note the colors of the floor plan. If possible, it should be inserted according to lower specifications.
  • The line thickness must be correspondingly thick. It is also recommended to completely fill in the masonry.

File Formats

To correctly display the background, it must meet the following specifications:

SVG Graphic

A decompressed SVG graphic in which all colors have been colored with the hex code #000000. In addition, the graphic should not be larger than 800 kB. If this is the case, Antcas Control attempts to convert the image into an SVG graphic. However, this causes higher server utilization.

Note: The SVG graphic must necessarily contain width and height in the SVG tag, otherwise graphic errors can occur on mobile devices.

PNG-, GIF- or JPEG Graphic

A PNG, GIF, or JPEG image with maximum dimensions of 3'600x3'600 pixels. The graphic can be provided with a color overlay after import. This makes it possible to adapt the design without the floor plan looking bad. With the color overlay, the color white becomes transparent and the color black is colored with the correct fill colors. All colors in between are mixed accordingly.

Style and Example

A floor plan should be kept as simple and clear as possible. Hatching distracts unnecessarily when operating and should therefore be avoided. Instead, a simple, clean representation with slightly stronger lines is recommended. The furniture can also be omitted, as it usually does not correspond to the customer's actual furnishings. Colored floor plans should be completely avoided.

Pro Tip: In most CAD programs, export without hatching can be set.
